Our Campus

In this picture you can see the main school buildings, Larson Hall (administrative building) in front, and some of the dorms on the left. Those dorms are used by the older students. The campus has nine dorms (five for male students and four for female students). Students work together to keep living spaces clean and enjoy the close sense of community and friendship afforded by boarding school. Each dorm room comes furnished with single beds, wardrobes, dressers, desks, chairs and shelving.

Delphian’s younger students live inside the main building. This is the first structure you will see from the bottom of the hill once you drive past downtown Sheridan and turn right on Rock Creek Road.

Virtual Tour of Delphian School Campus

This is the school gate which you must go through in order to access the private road that leads to the main building. It's still about 1 1/2 miles to the school from this point.

Before you arrive at the main building, you'll be able to see the soccer field at Delphian, used by the middle school, junior varsity, and varsity soccer players; the softball field, the athletic track, where you’ll find track & field teams practicing; and the gym, which hosts a variety of sports and other activities.

Below is a brief video where you can watch aerial footage of some of the Delphian School Campus.

You can see a 360-degree view of the inside of the Delphian School Gym - Home of the Delphian Dragons. Delphian Dragons participate in the Oregon School Activities Association’s Northwest League, 2A classification for girls and boys sports, including tennis, basketball, cross country, volleyball, track and field, and cheerleading.  You’ll find many students playing basketball and volleyball or practicing their cheerleading routines. The gym also has an elevated indoor running track, a climbing wall, and a weightlifting area. In the picture you can also see the banners on the walls with the highest athletic accomplishments of the different Delphian teams.

The foyer at Delphian School, past the reception area, is used to exhibit the students' artwork and receive visitors.

Delphian School is open for scheduled tours for anyone who wants to learn more about our school, our method and campus.

Delphian School's Mess Hall (cafeteria) serves three nutritious and balanced meals a day for all students and staff. SAGE Dining, which is the country’s top provider of sustainable dining services, customizes menus for Delphian and serves fresh, seasonal produce. The cafeteria area is also used to hold parties and dances like the annual Super Dance, which is a celebration following the annual student-run Telethon fundraiser campaign. The wide windows overlook the forest behind the school. Students enjoy exploring this forest, where they can hike to the pond and even find newts.

Academic Areas of the School

Delphian Library, which has thousands of books in stock on a wide variety of subjects. Students are welcome to read and take out any book in its catalog.

The Tech Lab, with state-of-the-art computer equipment that students use to complete a wide range of tasks and assignments. Here, students get to learn about technology and participate in hands-on activities, including coding, 3D printing, electronics, robotics, virtual reality, and much more. They can create applications, games, mobile apps, etc., in the roomy lab.

Other Areas of Delphian School

The recently remodeled Theater ("Little Theater") at Delphian School. This is where the drama department performs its plays, which consist of multiple productions each year. Students are involved in performing, designing and constructing sets, composing music, helping with directing and much more. The theater space is also used for music performances, conferences and presentations.  Behind the theater you'll find the brand new dressing rooms, which are really awesome.

The Rec Room where most of the students gather to unwind after a hard day of studying and other activities (Sports, Music, Arts, etc.). Here students can play ping pong, foosball or pool and order delicious snacks and beverages. It's a great place to relax and hang out with your friends. There is also a store and vending machines where you can buy toiletries, laundry products and school supplies.

There are many more areas of Delphian School that will be added soon, including: Larson Hall, the baseball field, the tennis courts, the horseback riding area, the playgrounds, the music rooms and the student living areas (dorms).
